Definition of artistic practice? On a very personal level, I have wanted to explore my own capacity and approach to my own narrative voice. Throughout Nature and rituals... That was the opportunity.... I have decided in my research to use the symbol "EYE" which relates to the Greenlandic concept "SILA" which covers the Weather, the Intellect (Consciousness) and the Universal worldview.
Title of the investigation at the residency "QAARTIILLUNI" "Waiting for something to burst forth"
Description of investigations and findings

I had decided to work intuitively on what I wanted to explore, so I very quickly encountered
My first source: the chestnut tree behind the garden at Birca.
The tree has a large eye in the center of its trunk, and it speaks directly to me.
My intuition was ignited, and with an open mind, I then encountered the energetic forces at the sites we visited on Bornholm.
Especially krystaløen (the pinal Chakra).
I continued exploring the area at Birca and found the spot in the woods where I would work on my performance.

What are you most curious about or invested in in your own practice? During one of my sensory walks in the Birca area, I encountered a chestnut tree with an eye that gazed straight through me. The chestnut tree awakened all my senses. Since then, I have seen eyes everywhere in nature—in the sun, the moon, rocks, and flowers, and in all living beings and a form of interactive communication has emerged between me and nature. This moment strengthened my intuition.
What questions did you bring to investigate and what questions are you leaving with? Can ritualistic physical work with nature help heal nature and people? New question: Can we, through our artistic work, help heal trauma in collaboration with nature through rituals? I am overwhelmed by the realization that rituals—in "collaboration" with nature’s own forces—can help heal a person, and that people can receive healing energy through rituals.
Transformative, creative moments at the residency The profound transformation that occurred during my exploration took place at one of the power spots near the entrance to Krystalsøen. I had been experiencing immense inner resistance before our entrance to the area. However, once we arrived at Krystalsøen, that blockage opened up. Everyone who participated in the residency also played a significant role in my inner journey.
