| Description of investigations and findings | My body, my traces, traces in nature. Belonging. On one of my walks in the garden of Birca, under the plum tree, in the corn field. Being in the nature by the water, the cliffs I found my interest in TRACES. Things in Nature and within me that has left its mark. And to put my body in relation to the natures traces. my materiel has a biographic approach.The solid rocks and my soft body with traces from a long life. The past the present and the future. To find an immersive way to connect with my body and creativity. With the time to rest the creativity appeared. |
| What are you most curious about or invested in in your own practice? | How to connect with my creativity. Try to stay true to the questions that rises. The body that wants to move on it’s own Way. Not to judge. |
| What questions did you bring to investigate and what questions are you leaving with? | How to get the creativity in a flow without the stressful mindsetting. After many years af producing materiel. What is the daily practice. What can I do to help myself? How to grab my own creativity. I came to a point with a stressfull mind and body and needed to ask my self how to get my nervous system in balance. How to empower my own practice and creativity within normal daily living. How to find a sustainable practice in order to continue to be creative as a mature artist? |
| Transformative, creative moments at the residency | Playful. Dancing. Trips at the island inspired me a lot. A immersive feeling of togetherness with the nature. Swimming. Talks with the other artists. Listen to the wind, the birds, feeling connected. Tried not to have expectations of producing. That was difficult sometimes. I got so inspired by nature and taking photos of me in connection/ responding to nature. My bodys traces within the nature. Dances alone and together with the other artist in the white hall at Birca. |
