| Definition of artistic practice? | I bridge art and healing through performative rituals that restore harmony disrupted by disconnection from nature. Exploring somatic awareness, intuitive movement, and emotional intelligence, my practice becomes a healing act. As a pluridisciplinary artist, I blend performance, video, sound, and installation to create immersive, sensory experiences that reconnect body, spirit, and environment. |
| Title of the investigation at the residency | I am... we are... part of... Nature. |
| Description of investigations and findings | Everything begins with deep sensing and listening to the space and its inhabitants, visible and invisible, past and present. To be traversed by space and its memory is to understand what is called to emerge. Walking the earth, diving into water, breathing air, feeling the fire’s heat. Collecting sounds, images, and matter. Dancing, vibrating, sounding while integrating a specific frequency, offering oneself to what asks to be embodied, and then… letting oneself be dreamt. From there, the preparation and performative act arise naturally, following a wild, intuitive impulse in the moment. Performing becomes an act of honouring the living presence, bridging microcosm and macrocosm, weaving through the invisible, and becoming part of the eco-matter.

| What are you most curious about or invested in in your own practice? | To answer this, I return to the core of my practice — a directive line that guides all my research: My artistic practice bridges art and healing through performative rituals that restore harmony disrupted by disconnection from nature. Through somatic awareness, intuitive movement, and emotional intelligence, it becomes a healing act. I create immersive, sensory experiences allowing the witnesser to resonate with body, spirit, and environment. |
| What questions did you bring to investigate and what questions are you leaving with? | what i brought: How can the body, through improvisation and embodied practice, facilitate spiritual, emotional transformation, and a collective journey through ritual and initiation? what i al leaving with: Must transformative ritual be embodied collectively, or can an individual act — deeply rooted in archaic memory — carry and transmit the power of the whole? |
| Transformative, creative moments at the residency | It was a dinner sharing, all around the table. An incredible surge of energy and pure joy arose. So strong it couldn’t be contained, a bit confusing or contagious for others. Then came a reflection that touched me deeply. Robert said, “This is what happens when three mirrors reflect the light.” A moment of truth, resonance, and beauty. Thank you, Robert. |
