| Definition of artistic practice? | We brought our shared artistic practice: Openness, deep trust and curiosity. A sincere artistic interest in relations - to ourselves, our families, what unfolds, the beings we meet, and BIRCA, Susanne and Bornholm. Indigenous culture, intangible cultural heritage, rituals and mild ways of relating to our surroundings as important, shared interest. Family as inextricably linked to our way of working with art. Facilitate children's exploration in relation to nature and interdisciplinary art. |

| Description of investigations and findings | We, as two families, looked for a common task, a small daily ritual we could act upon together. We walked the same path, honoring the place and its beings, found gifts from the natural world, and creating a visual installation day by day appeared indoors. Our intention was to give the children common ground to experience relationships and choreography of being with a landscape. Five investigations; 1) Engaging in and testing different art walks (as a part of my practice in my artistry over the course of 20 years). 2) Facilitating our children`s and families exploration in creativity, nature and art. 3) Relations from BIRCA to the art scene I am hosting in Norway, Strand Artist Residency. Possible future collaborations with BIRCA. Inspiration, trust and courage. Recognition and common ground. 4) Sensing together with the kids and families. Being, cooperation and cocreating. 5) Communication with, and receiving from, the More than Human and the Natural Environments. |
| What are you most curious about or invested in in your own practice? | Listening to my own creative intuition, to every cooperative being in the work, to the process. The result of this listening becomes the choreography and art format. Opening to the more than human world. See everything as a living being with its own self-agency and voice. Deep trust in the co-existence of all beings and the art creations. Facilitate and be a lodestar to expand in this field of creating, sensing, and being together. Seeing all as movement due to expanded chorographical approach. |
| What questions did you bring to investigate and what questions are you leaving with? | How to co-facilitate a safe space to be able to thrive in deep listening, sensing, creativity, investigating and curiosity? In connection with each other, the landscape, and Bornholm and BIRCA as two different and cooperating entities, the nature, and the more than human? And doing this together - three generations, two residency families, three families in total, and with kids in an age span from 4 to 14 years old? Leaving with: Deepened trust. Artistic flow. Gratitude. Love. |
