| Definition of artistic practice? | My practice is a mixture of dance, performance, pop culture studies and alter ego work. |
| Title of the investigation at the residency | -- |
| Description of investigations and findings | I was working with the idea of me being trash (both in nature’s perspective but also socioeconomically). During these two weeks I tried to work with the sea, but the more I tried to be part of nature the more I felt totally unnatural. I feel that nothing sums up me quite as well as the word trash does. I worked with videowork and an installations. |
| What are you most curious about or invested in in your own practice? | I am curious about alter egos and being in a role while performing. I am not interested in authenticity. |
| What questions did you bring to investigate and what questions are you leaving with? | I came with an idea of expressing my love for the sea in the most intense way, but when I arrived I realised I have to do something quite different, I'm leaving with the question of trash and trashiness. |
| Transformative, creative moments at the residency | My transformative idea came to me on our first day, when we were working with Tora, I was in the forest next to Birca doing research and I realised from nature's perspective human (not indigenous people) will always be a penetrator and a harmer. |
